How to take books/movies off Device

Hi All,

Can someone please tell me the best way to take movies off iPad, however still keeping them on iTunes so not to use all my memory on device?

I tried to google it but not getting a satisfying answer.

I don't have the step by step instructions handy, but you can set up iTunes to only sync selected files to the iPad. Then you can delete them from the iPad without iTunes putting them back on.

As I recall, you need to load iTunes and set it up before plugging the iPad in. I couldn't select the individual items in iTunes with the iPad plugged in.

Sorry I don't have more specifics for you right now.
