As a developer, I didn't notice this in the DP's but Safari 6 seems to reload every single time you navigate. It almost seems it isn't caching data and reloads it fresh, slowing down browsing.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yup i'm experiencing this as well and it's bugging the crap out of me, especially on websites like reddit.

This is actually one of the reasons I switched to Firefox from Safari 5. With Safari 6, though, I'm finding the reload to be much faster to the point where it doesn't bother me....yet.

I just upgraded to ML and I'm now noticing this issue. When I was using Safari 6 on Lion, it did not do this. Now when I press back or forward, it takes longer to load the page.

i'm annoyed by this behavior, too. since upgrading to ML, i'm giving safari a chance (always have used FF). i have generally liked safari, so far. however, reloading is annoying for me, not because of slowness, rather it is only when prior data is lost due to the reload.

as a side note, i STILL don't like the way safari handles tabs!!!

This issue has caused me to move to Firefox/Chrome for a bit. Looking for images on Google a couple times a day and having all the images reload each time you go back from checking out a picture is enough to drive anyone batty.
