Hi, I bought my iPhone 4s while I was traveling abroad and the first sim I used on it was from a network in that country. Now when I put back my local sim, still the previous number is indicated in the facetime and the facetime activation seems to be trying to activate it with the previous number. How do I set it to use the current sim number I'm using ?

Thanks.

I had this problem. My 4S is factory unlocked, but I regularly travel between Germany and UK and most of the time Facetime and iMessage deals with the change of SIM, but sometimes it falls over.
I find that switching both Facetime and iMessage off (or whichever is trying to activate the old number, if only one), restart the phone and then switch back on. It may show the old number initially, but will soon catch up.
Also, check that the correct number is shown in Settings>Phone>My Number. If it's wrong, you can edit it.
Hope this helps :)
