Hello all,

I am new to this forum as well as the iphone world and i desperately need help to get my iphone 3gs on 4.2.1 firmware out of recovery mode.

this condition came about after i performed a hard reset when my phone got frozen and this made the phone to display connect to itunes logo and will not boot.

i used tools such as tinnyumbrella and recboot to kick it out of recovery but to no avail. i also tried fix recovery but getting to the end it gives me an error message which says "no successful firmware download after 60000 ms giving up"

i read a bit on the internet about this problem so i saved the shsh blobs of my device using ifath but an actually confused as to the next step i should take.

i want to get the phone back functioning without loosing its content. is this posible and if yes what are my options.

thanks in advance.
