After downgrading my baseband, my iphone restarted, showed the home screen, and just in couple of seconds - restarted and this loop went on. Is this known issue? Finally I re-installed ipad BB and now the restarts have stopped.

Well, to stop the restarts you could use Tinyumbrella and it would kick it out of the reboot loop. I believe some Jailbreak utilities would allow you to do that as well.
Okay I will try Tiny umbrella.
One additional piece of information - Between the reboots, I was able to squickly go to settings and check my BB version and it was empty. I hope this is not a problem.
