TiBook: Reads 700 MB CDR as 670?

Hi all,
The CDRs I am using are definitely 700 MB capacity (my iMac + LacCie USB Burner work with them), but on my Titanium Powerbook (667mhz), they are read as being 670 MB. I'm not aware of any Apple firmware updates. Is the burner on my TiBook really this crappy? Or is it a bug I can fix?

Just a guess...

The CD is formatted, and the files take up 30 MB of space.
Sorta like DVDs that are 4.7GB unformatted, but actually only has 4.2 GB of actual space available.

Like I said, just a guess...
