There's been some speculation that and Apple phone may be in the workings. It seems like this would be a logical next step in the "Digital Lifestyle Hub" and with iSync (which REALLY needs to get it's act together sometime soon). I've been looking all over for a phone that I can sync with my mac with so far no luck. My service provider, Verizon, doesn't support the current that are compatiable with iSync.

Though even if Apple introduced a phone the trick would still be to get the service providers to sign on with it. So any thoughts? Does the iPhone have a future?

If you get a Palm-based Phone (like a Handspring Treo) it should be able to Sync with your Mac just fine through iSync (as a palm, not a bluetooth phone). You may want to check and see if your provider supports the Treo.
