I used to be able to take a look at new updates and decide when to install them based on the size. If I needed to use the network I wouldn't be downloading a 1Gig patch until later. Now, in the App Store, I can see that iPhoto has a patch available, but it doesn't tell me the size. Am I missing something?

Apple will probably have a KB article with such details on their site. I also know that when most updates come out, sites like this have details on how big they are and what they cover.

The App Store app has beta software written all over it imo. Unstable, no tabs, terrible performance, incomplete functionality. Meh.
