Ive taken this iPhone 3G completly to pieces as it was broken (smashed)
i replaced the front and back.
When i plug the phone in on charge, it charges for a min then attempts to turn on as normal
So i see the white apple logo in the center :apple:
But this stays there and 2 mins and then the screen flashes, turns off and retrys to turn on.
This is a constant cycle and i need to know how to fix it

Take it to an Apple Store? Honestly I'd say get a new iPhone, because that phone is prehistoric. I've tried manually repairing some hardware problems on my phone after I dropped it, and it always ends up breaking something else. You better take it to a specialist.

It would need to be taken to a 3rd party repair/reseller. Apple won't touch it after a repair attempt is made. Besides they don't even do out of warranty swaps for the 3G anymore. Even the 3Gs usually has to be ordered for an oow swap.

Time to get a new phone. Let the poor thing die with some dignity.
