Using my iMac running ML 10.8.1 when suddenly I see a folder appear on the desktop labelled "Recovery HD" with a red "no entry" icon at the bottom.
At the same time a dialog keeps popping up saying that "OS X wants to use my keychain" (or something like that) and asking (I presume) for my admin password. I clicked cancel as I didn't know what was going on.
I restarted, and the folder's disappeared. Ran Disk Utility to verify the disk, and everything appears to be fine.
But I can't help wondering, what was that?
Anyone know?
