I purchased one of the new 13" Airs this summer and am now looking for an external display. I really like the concept of the Thunderbolt Display but I'm not shelling out $1000 for a monitor.
I would like something in the ballpark of this Dell display but I also have a set of speakers that I would like to just leave plugged into the monitor. I also have a thunderbolt hard drive that I would like to daisy chain between the monitor and the laptop so DisplayPort is a must.
So what I think I need is a monitor that supports
