Software Update has been notifying me with old (and already installed) updates lately. On my Mac at work, iTunes 3.0.1 came up today but I already have that installed. On my Mac at home, an update for Backup that I already had installed came up. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm running 10.1.5 at work and 10.2.2 at home.

have you moved any of your files (iTunes) out of its default locations?
Did it install compleetly when you installed it the first time? Did you let it Optimise all the way? I hade a power outage durring an install once and I had the same problem... If I do a getinfo on the app.. it says its the new version... and it runs.. but software update knew better. But when I went to install it... it faild. I had to trash the one I had.. then install a fresh copy
