Hi there,

I have a question on the use of Apple's Thunderbolt Cable. If I wanted to, for example, transfer a folder of movies from my Macbook Pro to iMac, could it be used for doing that? Or is it just for displays?

Yes, and it will be pretty dang fast as well. :D

although if you're going from hard drive to hard drive (as opposed to SSD to SSD) it won't be much faster than gig-ethernet.

and ethernet cable is a lot cheaper.
