Good News

power Book users should be happy with this, even if it isn't a giant update

It couldn't be much more specialized than this, unless it said "PowerBook update for wrxguy and villanova329."

Wow... This is new. Does anybody know what this specifically fixes? Like is it a performance-type fix? Perhaps the drivers before the update misinterpreted a Core Image function? Neato gang!

I haven't seen anything reported on this issue... I wonder why Apple chooses to pay attention to these updates instead of more serious problems like OpenGL crashes on the G5 SP1.8ghz

I saw this too, a while ago. I haven't installed it yet because I don't want to restart. What does it fix anyways?

I'm getting ready to install it, but hopefully it fixes the one graphics problem I have...the screen sometimes goes all blurry for a second when I plug (or unplug) my power adapter. It's not really a big deal, but kind of annoying...

I've got a 1.5Ghz Aluminum G4 and it shows up in SW update......should I take a chance? I thought it was specifically for the 1.67Ghz models...

blaskillet4: Probably, but there should be an update for the 12" too (1.33 GHz), since I get that bug as well.
