I am happy with my ram in my new macbook pro but i am looking in to getting more. i want to upgrade from 4GB to 8GB. How much RAM can my MacBook Pro accept. the specs are in the image

Your Ivy Bridge Macbook can support 32GB of RAM. Although it fairly expensive. Of course Apple will advertise that you can do up to 16GB.

Apple advertises a max of 8GB. Only 16GB is possible at this time, since 16GB RAM modules are not available for purchase.
