creating halftones in illustrator cs2

alright how is this done?

im thinking its done by selecting it as bitmap... not cmyk or rgb.

also how can one make sure the dot shapes output as circles not squares... basically changing the halftone shapes around.

what kind of angle to shape setup number am i looking at for silkscreening halftones?
