I'm very surprised this came before the photoshop update, but I am happy and will likely pull the trigger on a rMBP in the next couple weeks now.

Wow, Adobe are aggressively going after Final Cut Pro users!!! :cool: Also great to see OpenCL finally being used equally to CUDA

It's only logical that Adobe is going after Final Cut users, after the release of Final Cut X, followed by an outpouring of disastrous reviews...

Indeed, along with Apple's inability to update their workstations in favour in phones, their inability to support 10bit display output, support for more than a few GPUs and the general decline in solidity of OS X, switching to Premiere also allows one to not depend on Apple's declining "professional" platform. There has to be a lot of work to do to convert to HiDPI for such a large application like Premiere, along with internal testing, 3 months is a fast upgrade...
