Is the main car park 24 hours? I know that some of them have barriers.

Also, planning on walking over Don footbridge, that entrance gonna be open?

The queue starts either through the main entrance (Yorkshire Bank/Subway) or through the staff entrance to the left of it.

Thanks. Why is the car park only opening at 6.30??

will Attrium entrance be open at that time? otherwise not sure best way in coming from the interchange

My only experience is from the iPad launch in 2010. I turned up somewhere between 4 and 5 (I'm hazy on that detail), I parked in the main car park and the automatic doors were unlocked allowing me to walk right in and join the queue of 30 peeps.

Car park was open very early even when i came to the 4s and the new ipad launch. Que starts from where the automatic doors are then later you get moved to fire exit near the apple store. I parked up in mhall around 4am ish for new ipad and waited inside with others!

THANKS. was just worried coz they announced car park to open 6.30, that i'd be stuck where to park at 4 am

I will be getting there by train, does anyone know where I should go, I presume the bridges and stuff to get in will be closed.

If the train station doors are closed, you'll need to walk all the way round to the main entrance which is on the roundabout opposite Frankie & Benny's.

I've managed to get a lift off a mate so I will be there for about half 3. I rang the store and they told me that the shopping center is opening its doors at 4, and there will be people to tell us where to go, I also asked if I could pay cash, and she said that would be fine. Getting excited now, first time I've done something like this.

Good luck to you all, from what I've heard there will be people queuing from this evening (if not already), and by 3-4am there will be hundreds! I was there for the iPad 2 launch and people had been there all night even though it did not go on sale until 5pm, and Meadowhall was open all night allowing people to start queuing inside. I got there at 5am (12 hour queue) and was about 7th in line. Wanted to avoid the queuing this year so I pre-ordered from CPW and being delivered tomorrow. Have fun!

Considering going down at about 4, if the queues are huge by then I'll just go home.

Never done a launch before, so should be interesting.

When we went for the 4S launch we got there about the same time and people were queuing up outside the main entrance. They then let you inside in the early hours of the morning.

Hope to arrive at around 3:30am / 4am - traveling by car to meadowhall, never been to meadowhall by car before, any advice on which entrance to use, where to park and how to get to the que from the car park???
