I suppose you could always park in premier inn/TGIF car parks if it is closed. I'm trying to think if there's any car parks in meadowhall without gates...

I'm planning on getting down at about 4:30

Jesus. Well looks like tonight/tomorrow is going to be long. I've got a conference call at 10am... Looks like my plan of going at 3-4 might put that in jeopardy.

people on here who have been to launches before seem confident the car park will be open early but the only officia news i've heard is also that it's 6.30.

spoke to someone who works at apple meadowhall today and they had no idea of any timings and said MH like to keep the car parks closed for as long as they can from their experience.

Can peeps be kind enough to update us what the deal with parking is once they've arrived.

Hope you all get your hands on what you're after!

Your picture is better than mine LOL!

I was going to queue tonight but I did it for the original iPad launch and was around 20th in the queue and found myself bored to tears all night :P

I've just cancelled my preorder with Apple because I can get 30% off my line rental with the O2 friends/family deal so it would actually work out cheaper for me to do this than buy the phone and go sim only.

Looks like I will just have to wait a while And not have 4G!

I was at the 4s launch last year did it once won't be doing it this year I've ordered it online. Good luck to all those who go. Do you mind giving out the twitter feed of the guy whose updating what's happening at Meadowhall ? . As phazon said lots of Chinese guys turned up after 10 so I assume this will happen perhaps even in larger numbers.

Hi guys, I'm an apple launch newbie. Can anyone tell me who was at the 4/4s launch. Did they run out of phones? Or did everyone get one?

He wasn't there, just mocking the people queuing.

Search "Meadowhall" on twitter for latest stuff, not seen anyone there tweeting yet.

Thanks for the info, going to get down for 5ish and wait to park.

If you see a bright yellow car hanging around, it's mine, haha.

On previous threads for the 4s & iPad launch people have stated that the car park opened at 4am. Is anyone in line throughout tonight able to ask someone and give us an update at some point tonight. Don't want to get there at 4am to find out the car parks closed.

Anymore updates on the current line status?

Can confirm. Just joined the queue. I parked downstairs not thinking the upstairs would be open. I'd say it's between 100-200 long right now.

----------

Oh. There's a fox running around the car park too.
