Bill Moggridge

Bill Moggridge, a British industrial designer who designed an early portable computer with the flip-open shape that is common today, has died. He was 69.
Okay fanboys you can now post the Jobs was the inventor of the laptop.

Thanks for posting this. But why sully it with a snide comment about Apple fans and Steve Jobs?

Sadly, the pioneers of personal computing are getting to the age where these passings are going to become more and more frequent.
