What is the best selling Apple computer right now?

Someone told me the ibooks were "flying off the shelf" because of the simultaneous price drop and speed bump.
The ibook seems to fit the average laptop users needs.
Me...well i still want to upgrade from my 500mhz tibook to the ghz tibook....<sigh>

I would guess the iBook because they, like thirteenva said, fit the
average user's needs, and they are very...likable. My english
teacher has an iBook and on the 1st day of class she took it out
to show a powerpoint presentation. A lot of people started saying
how they hated macs. And then this dude said 'I don't like macs
but I don't mind iBooks' and a lot of people nodded in agreement.
The moral of the story is: iBooks are more likable then the other
computers apple sells. They are very tempting for students too.
They are inexpensive, relativaly powerful, stylish, and very
durable. That sure fits a college students definition of a perfect
laptop. I think the iBooks are selling the most, but I could
defninitely be wrong.

I guess ibooks are really great and the best value for the money right now.
The common user can really be happy with what they offer.
I lend mine to my girl, she is in the university.
They had this book with a cd inside that was supposed to be openned with offica 97-8 in a windows machine.
Guess what , many of the pcs couldn't open the thing and the ibook did, hehehhehe.
Many people stared amazed.
Apple needs to find a way of educating possible switchers and letting them know how "compatible", hate that word, macs are.😀

I'd say that the iBooks, being very recently updated, less expensive, durable, and actually available would make them the best selling machine.
The Powerbook has been updated, but it is expensive, less durable, and the 1Ghz model wasn't available at stores or for quick delivery. Thus, to a comsumer who is looking for the quick purchase, there wasn't really an update to the powerbook.

Gotta be the iBook. The price drop was key, but also the speed bump since 10.2 now is quite snappy (Radeon 7500 is probably more important since now iBooks can use Quartz Extreme). At $999 and $1299, the low and mid iBooks are very compelling. I have a feeling Apple is going to come out of these holidays with a measurable bump in market share, largely due to a surge in iBook sales.
