With iPhone 5 banter reaching a fever pitch, the threads are saturated with talk of LTE.

However, my question is, will LTE speeds suffer and slow down with the (allegedly) 4G LTE iPhone 5 hitting the market? The LTE frequencies will be taking on literally millions of new users almost overnight, and I'm just wondering if speeds will take a hit from this?

Forgive me if this is way off, because I have next-to-NO knowledge of these types of things; that's why I'm asking.

Thanks,
will

There probably will be some slow down, but the speeds will still surpass 3G and HSPA+ speeds.

I guess I was asking those who are specifically knowledgeable about such issues if the the infrastructure, frequencies, etc. of 4G are/can be directly affected by the amount of traffic.

While I appreciate your input, I could also deduce that there will probably be slowdown but it will still probably be faster than 3G, etc.
