Put your ideas here on how to make your microsim a nano sim!
We all know the new iphone will use nano sims so we need our sims to be ready when that time comes!
Not every phone provider will give you nano sims at start :(

I've looked into this as I will be purchasing an iPhone 5 with the intention of using my Tmobile USA sim. According to the Wikipedia sim article, the nanosim has the exact same chip and foil size as the normal and microsim. The nanosim has nearly no plastic on the sides of the foil and is 0.09mm thinner. Realistically, it's going to be quite easy to trim the microsim and give the back (non foil!) side of the sim a rub or two with corse sand paper to take 0.09mm off of it.
If it DOESN'T work.. Tmobile reps are already confirming that tmobile will stock nanosims Very soon, as they will need them for all future generations of smartphones.
Good luck.
