So i've got to take my Laptop into the Genius bar again. Hooray....

Just installed my Education Copy of Win7, was updating it blue screened, fair enough. Reboot, and I can't boot anything. Its taken out the whole boot-loader and EFI. I can't boot USBS/DVDs, in the Option Menu on bootup it just showed the Windows Partition. I can't boot the recovery partition by holding R or Command+R. Its dead I can't get it to do anything.

I've got a 60 hour music project to start in Cubase on Monday next week, and my laptops ball's up again.

I've had way to many problems with this machine :(

Sorry rant, but its been in twice last month, and i lost it for 3 weeks. Before that, it ate its bootloader.

And everything but screen has been replaced...

Ugh.

If you personally upgraded that ram to 8GB, did you test the ram when you installed it? Bad ram can cause kernel panics.
