I'm running 10.2.2 and my ethernet card is no longer being recognized on my Firewire Powerbook. It was fine for a few days after the upgrade but now nothing is listed in the Apple Profiler.

Any suggestions or solutions would be helpful. I'd rather not have to replace anything.

Do you also have OS9 installed? Have you booted into that to see if it's detected. If it is then you know its a software problem, if not then there's something up with the hardware.

I booted off a CD into 9.0.4 and it recognized both the built-in ethernet and modem.
So we've got it down to a software problem in 10.2.2, I have absolutely no idea what you need to do next, but hopefully someone else will have some ideas now we know it's a software issue rather than hardware.
