I am working through a new Gmail set up as exchange email account on my wifes iPhone.
1. After 3 days, read e-mails leave her inbox and are transfered to the ALL Mail Folder.
2. It has been suggested here that I turn off Auto Archive in settings and I cannot find that setting in gmail settings. I have searched for the turn off archiving button without sucess

What I really want to set up her phone like my Exchange account is set up on my iphone email account through work. What I would like is for Messages stay in the inbox until they are delted. When they are deleted, they should go to the trash, and when you empty the trash, they should be gone forever.

Not sure how to go about this but I would appreciate any advice.
