Does anyone know what time Victoria Square opens on a launch day? Are they open all night for queuing or do they open just before the store does?

Apple's site says that the store opens at 8am, but Victoria Square doesn't usually open until 9.30am apparently.

Any ideas?

Apple stores usually open at 8am for big launches I think

I suppose most people here will be joining the queue?
I would really appreciate if you could update this thread on the morning of the queue as I won't be able to join until 10a.m.
I would see it as a wasted journey if the queue is huge.
Thanks.

I might be stone mad but I'm thinking about coming all the way from Cork city.

They way that the trains run will mean that I will arrive in Belfast at 11pm.

Is that very early to be there? Is there somewhere in that shopping centre that does coffee all night?

Nope you can't either get cash or use credit card/ visa debit.

I got there at 12 last year and was 4th in the queue, was a good laugh all night and can't wait till tonight to do it again! I came from Dublin but have family here I'm staying with.

You can definitely use Laser, my girlfriend used this last year. Also they'll accept all debit and credit cards.

----------

Also slightly off topic here but if any Belfastians want to buy my 16gb iPhone 4S, I'm raffling it! Tickets are a fiver, DM for more info.

Not sure if I'll go or not now.

I can be there at 12.30 tonight but I just don't know if is worth it for a phone?

Would there be much life through the night?

I didn't end up going. I probably would have went if I didn't have work tomorrow evening at the other end of the country

I'm sure I'll get to experience it at some stage.

Everyone keep us posted with how things are going through the night
