You can trade in iPhones at Best Buy right?

Like I'm planning this:

AT&T full price: $649
Early Upgrade for some random reason: -200 or 199+250= $449

NOW here's the thing. Best Buy is giving a $300 gift card for an iPhone 4S 16GB.

So... I wanna know is Best Buy going to honor AT&T's things and can I trade in my iPhone 4S in-store at Best Buy? I know you can send it through the mail, but I don't want to do that.

P.S. I want to reserve it too, but does that mean I have to pay price right there?
