The CANADA iPhone 5 Pre-Order STATUS Thread!

Tried ordering through the app but it wouldn't go through.

Jumped online. Store was down for a few extra minutes. Once it was up my order went through online painlessly.

Ordered:
Black 64GB unlocked iPhone 5
Lightning cable
Lightning adapter
Apple Care

Confirmation email received at 3:20am (EST).

Went with a 64GB White with AppleCare+. Confirmation at 3:00AM sharp.

According to another thread, a Lightning to 30-pin adapter is included, so I am a bit happier that I didn't order one.

Didn't order any extras though, may get Apple Care+ at Apple store later when I go check for cases.

Got my 64GB black iPhone through the website with no problems. Took maybe 3 clicks with express checkout enabled. I thought the iPhone app would work as it went live first but it just kept timing out.

I hope since we all got it early that means we get it launch day. I think I'll go crazy waiting if I have to wait until the following Monday.

Ordered 32gb black/slate! Chrome would not load the Apple.ca site, even after clearing cache. Tried Safari and clearing it's cache, and apple.ca worked right away. Whew.

Just curious, how are you guys planning on sorting out your SIM cards? Are Rogers/Telus/etc already offering nanoSIMs?

Ordered mine through the Telus pre-order page. They're "working to get me my phone on or around Sept 21". I feel so warm and fuzzy. We'll see if ordering from Telus direct was a mistake... Got the black 64gb with AC+.

I am on Fido. Apparently, you can go to fido store and buy nano sim for $10.

For nano sims, According to a mod on iphoneincandada you can walk into an apple retail store and they will give you one for free.....

I thought it would be good for a pre-order thread just for Canadians as we sometimes get out phones at different times as those in the US.

I order a 16gb white iPhone5 at 3:10am EST. According to Apple my phone will deliver between Sept 21-25.

What do others have?

I love/hate pre-ordering with Apple because it causes so much anxiety AND excitement when the phone comes all the way to Canada from China!
