Best case for the gym? Or possibly running?

I was wondering what people might recommend for the gym where I might drop the phone if it slips or what not. Would Otterbox be the best bet?

Any armband solutions?

I'm a bit wary of regular clips that go on your belt as I find the jostling could possibly dislodge it from my wasitband.

This is by far my favorite gym/running accesory I have for my iPhone 4. Pretty certain the 5 will fit, even though it's longer may not match perfectly but I can not workout without this thing, IMO far superior to any armband I've used.

whiskyred, i agree - that sleeve is absolutely amazing for running. i had assumed the 5 would not fit in there but if it does that would be awesome.

I buy clothing with a smartphone holder built in for running. It's the easiest way.

I really, really like that nike sleeve. I am going to order it and if it doesn't fit the 5, then return it but I'm guessing it will.

I keep looking at the Nike sleeve and even thought the window on the sleeve may not line up perfect with the screen of the 5, I feel like I can fit the phone in there. Again, I love it and I'm sure Nike will update it eventually.

I was in the same boat as you. The majority of cases for the gym are going to be quite expensive. And even then I still wasn't crazy about using my i5 in there. I decided to just buy a shuffle for $50. Less than most bulky/tank cases and your phone won't need to be on you.
