768 from retina into air

Hi dudes!

I've found 768gb drives from retina already sell on ebay.

Is it possible to install that drive into my air 11 2012 (core i7 2.0 8gb 256ssd)

Nope... though the connectors are the same (I believe), they are a different size and would not fit.

I was looking at the prices the seller was charging on ebay ($928 - $990) and that is pretty much what Apple is charging for that particular SSD.

That's not true. That's the "upgrade" price. The marginal cost over the default drive. You don't have to forfeit your old one when you buy a new one from ebay.
