I have a meeting in Tysons at 9:30 so I'm hoping to be closer to the front to get out by then. Right now I'm aiming to get there between 2 and 3.

Once we're inside the mall, those who are close enough to the Apple store will be able to use the store's free WiFi, which is a real plus; of course there is cellular data, too, on the iPhone and iPad....

Thing is, people won't be able to camp overnight on mall property -- I'm sure that Mall Security will be in full force all night and that probably no one will be allowed to enter the property and park in the garage until at least 3:00 - 4:00 or so. Won't be able to actually get in the mall building until 5:00 or 5:30.

My friend that works at apple Tyson's, said that they won't let anyone in before 5:30, nd that there's no camping out allowed in any place around the mall, best bet is to be there at 3:30 or 4am! What do you guys think?

That's right, they do not allow camping on the property, they won't let people start parking cars in the garage until around 3:30 or 4:00 and then we have to hang out outside until they allow us into the building at around 5:30.

I live much closer to Reston so I would rather line up there, but Tysons is also an option for me. What do you guys think, will Reston have the shorter lines or will Tysons? Which store will have more phones to sell? I'm planning to show up around 8:30am so I won't be early. I want an iPhone tomorrow, so which location do you think has a higher allotment?

If you're going at 8:30 i suggest reston, cause from what I've heard, tysons get fully packed, and even if u go at 8:30 you'll have a long line to wait, wether its tysons or reston

I was told the same thing, except to arrive around 3, so that's what I'm currently aiming for.

Boo dunkin donuts is closed... Couldn't sleep so headed out early to scope out the area.... No one in line at the door...but don't want to line up too early and get thrown out

What do you guys think, will Reston have the shorter lines or will Tysons? Which store will have more phones to sell? I'm planning to show up around 8:30am so I won't be early. I want an iPhone tomorrow, so which location do you think has a higher allotment?
