Who Preordered a 16g iphone? Regrets?

Well you'll never know until you experience a 16GB iPhone and use it. If you use all 16GB (14GB after formatting) you'll know next time that 16GB wasn't enough.

I think you'll be okay. Like you said put the extra toward Apple care.

16gb is not enough if u like to have lots of stuff on ur phone

If I'm getting a 5, honestly I could do with a 16GB.

I have tons of music but I listen to <50. So that leaves the rest of the storage for apps

I was debating it in the last hour and then realized that I only have like 10GB used on my iPhone 4 after 2 years(32GB 4). I bought an iPod classic to keep all my music on and really did not feel it was needed this time around. I was debating hard that last hour between the two(16 and 32) though.

Honestly, I bought a 16gb 4s last year, and I jailbroke it as well so my tweaks and themes took up space as well, i had lots of apps, and i liked having my music (200 or so songs) this took up about 12 gbs, it was pretty upsetting because i wanted to put a movie or 2 on, but apps take up appdata space, pictures take up space too. So i went with the 32gb iphone 5 this time and i doubt ill go over that there is no need to fill it with 32gb of NECESSARY stuff. maybe stuff i want but dont need lol

The iPhone 4S was my first iPhone, and I got a 32gb version because I didn't want to risk running out of storage with the 16gb one. After nearly a year of usage, I'm only using 9gb on the 4S. So I decided to get a 16gb iP5. What capacity you need depends on the person, but for me, I think 16gb is enough. How much storage will ur music take up? Do you plan on playing graphically intense games? (graphically intense games generally cost money and take up a good bit of memory).

Real racing 3 = bye bye 1 GB.

You will be amazed at how fast some of these games can gobble up the storage.

I find 32 to be pretty safe for my uses.

16GB is manageable IMO. I've had a 16GB 4S (all my previous iPhones were 32GB) and I didn't find it difficult to deal with, mostly because of the rise of cloud services. With things like iTunes in the cloud, Google Music, Amazon's Cloud Player, you can have access to your entire music collection at all times without having to keep it stored on your phone. Just download the music you want when you want it. And if your out taking a bunch of pictures or something and suddenly need space, you can just delete that cached music. It is a compromise, but absolutely doable IMO and really not that much of a problem depending on your desired usage. Granted, I did get 32GB again this round, more space is always better than less.

Another thing that helps is all of these cloud photo services. iCloud, Dropbox and Google+ will upload all those photos and videos you take so you have no need to keep them stored locally. You can use many different cloud storage services so you have redundancy too.

I went with the 64GB iPhone this time. I kept hitting the limit with my 32GB iphone 4 with lots of pictures and videos.

No regrets, this time will keep my iPhone tidy, just a handful games I really play on the go intead of several genre folders filled to the brim.

Maybe half of the phone filled with the music I listen to often, iTunes Match takes care of the rest. No Videos.

Got the 16 and it's enough for me. No need to pay for more memory if i'll never use it. Good for resale though lol

Have a 16 GB "new" iPad and still have 10 gigs of space left. My current 16GB 4S has about 4.5 gigs left after adding all my music (iCloud disabled), so for me I can suffice with 16 GB.

16gb was big when the 3gs came out.. 3yrs later, I think the bare minimum should be 32gb.

I ordered the 32 GB. My 4s is the 16GB version, I only use up to 10 GB, which leaves me about 4 because with formatting my phone only has13.6GB avaliable at all times. I usually take videos and a lot of pictures...and the 4s takes really high quality pictures and videos, which takes about no time to fill up the last 4GB. I figure if I don't use all of the space it's not a big deal, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

I currently have a phone with an 8gig memory card. Only once did I get close to filling it. Most of it is music and a few apps. 16gb is more than enough for me.

16GB is so 2010. I understand cloud services but I rather not have my pictures stored on a remote server (privacy issues), so I got 32GB this time.

32gb at minimum

People forget that this phone has an 8 mp camera which images would take up space. plus with panorama (which you can get up to 28 mp images) you will find you will need to clean space often. and then 1080p takes even more space. and with a bigger screen it encourages game makers to make bigger and better games!
32gb at minimum (and it also helps with resale value if you care about that)

I don't store music on my phone and my apps went over 16gb so 32 is perfect for me.

Went with 32gb

Was going to order the 16gb version but decided to go with the 32gb this time as more and more apps are getting bigger, and with the new Camera features more memory will come in handy

That is how I am. I still have 11gb free on my 16gb 4S. I stream all of my music and don't watch movies on my phone. The only "data" I really have is contacts, apps, and calendars.

Getting 32 for me, 16 for my wife.
Many people will be content with the 8G iphone 4.

iTunes match and unlimited data has saved my space. I download the ones I listen to most, whilst stream those that I listen to every so often.
