Yeah roger that. So far I'm waiting on 3 from amazon. The iBlason armadillo, the evecase, and the splash vapor slim. As of now none have shipped.

If it's like the iphone reveal it's a polycarbonate (transparent) back with rubber sides

I bought a Pelican 1015 micro case before my Touch 5 gen arrived. Luckily it’s the perfect size to hold the touch and a couple accessories. Makes a great transport case. They're about $15 on Amazon. Note mine's NOT the i1015, but the regular 1015.

So far I've ordered the splash vapor, eve, brookstone flexible pattern case and the griffin reveal. Should be getting the vapor today.

Update: Just got the black Splash Vapor and I must say first impressions are very positive! I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.
I just put it on and it adds very little thickness but just enough to allow the touch to lay flat without the camera lens touching (about 1mm above the lens ring). Fit is snug but snapped in easily. For the first case I'm very satisfied.

I'm using the clear Splash Vapor for my white/silver iPod touch and like it very much. Provides a good fit. The sleep/wake and sound buttons are covered, but respond instantly. The other openings for the speaker, dock, etc are cut perfectly and the material offers a more secure grip.

It's a great interim case while waiting to see what Otterbox develops.

That's too bad- I bought the Reveal and I like it. It is true that the transparent back gets scratched, but it doesn't bother me too much.

I bought the Reveal case by Griffin. The back scratches easily and the loop hole is pretty much useless.

Speck's iPod Touch 5G cases should be out soon. iLounge recently reviewed the CandyShell for iPT, so they should start to trickle out in the next few weeks.

On a similar note, I've been searching for iPod Touch card cases, like the Speck CandyShell Card, but haven't been able to find any. If any of you know of such a case, let me know! But if you're also interested in such a case, there is a group of people requesting this kind of case on Speck's recommendation forum which you can find here: https://speckproducts.uservoice.com/...it-card-holder.
Speck has said that they might make this case if enough people suggest it!
