Good luck to the folk braving it out overnight. You'll be happy to know that its meant to pish down the rest of today (Like it has been all day) and then its supposed to get cold enough during the night for our first batch of Autumn/Winter 2012 frost.

So if yer going. Take a heavy jacket and umbrella lol.

I went to Braehead for 4s got in mall at 5.30 only a couple of people in front of me. McDonald's came round with free tea and coffee

----------

Is it worth changing from 4s to 5? Can't decide to go to Glasgow tomorrow or not

Cool

I'll be hitting Buchanan Street. Not decided a time yet. Who fancies shouting "Whose from MacRumors" so we can all do that awkward neck-up-nod thing? Cant be any worse than when the Apple employees get us all to do the big round of applause an hour before the store opens!

I should be tweeting via @nickwebcouk also. The joys!

Nick

Hey, can anyone please tell me if they think I will be able to get a phone if I come around 9? This is the earliest I can get from my town without having to sleep on the streets for 7 hours I want to get the 32gb black model

As much as I enjoyed the experience of queuing for my iPad 2 I don't think I will do it again. Apple do free returns so there is really no excuse for not pre ordering one day 1 and then deciding when it turns up.

My schedule for tomorrow is to get up and wait patiently for the courier, ukmail usually deliver to me early so hopefully can then get into paisley to get my nano sim from tmobile - then wallow in the anti climax it's no different from my 4 self pity, lol.

Any other twitter people? Wouldn't mind reading/seeing what's going down :-)

Looking to head to Apple store on Buchanan St for around 4/5am. Have been without a phone for a week now and need to pick one up tomorrow.

Hmmmm, won't make it through from Greenock much before 7:30am... Based on recent launches I'm thinking that should mean I'll be OK to get a phone tomorrow but not sure! Worth the gamble? Or just stay in my bed and order one online for delivery in a few weeks instead?

Been there last few times for 0630 and no problem. I'm thinking 0730. No way they will sell out.

4 hours? You sure it wasn't longer than that? Hope you all enjoy the early start and high 5'ing Apple staff, unfortunately my iPhone is being delivered so I will miss my usual launch day fun.
