Shared Reminder doesn't remind on my wife's iPhone.

I set a Shared Reminder between my wife ID and my ID. The lists appear on her iPhone but the "remind me" options are always set to Never on hers even though they're set to remind On a Day on my Mac.

Is this the way it is supposed to be?
