3 in Cambridge?

Anyone have 3 in Cambridge? How's the coverage? I took a SIM a couple of years ago, and couldn't get reception in my house (Grantchester)
Has anything changed? I'd love to get on one of their tariffs, but not sure it will work for me.

It seemed last time I had to put money on the SIM to check. Perhaps this is no longer the case, or I had it wrong before. Either way, if anyone here has experience, that's even easier!
