You either have to order Applecare+ when you originally order your iPhone or you can have it added by going to an Apple Store within 30 days and they inspect it before you can buy it.

Doing a quick check at Amazon, I don't see an entry for Applecare+, only for the regular AppleCare.

I would buy it through Apple or buy it at the time you order your iPhone from the carrier (or Apple).

Amazon doesn't sell AC+, they just sell regular AC. My understanding is the only way to get it is to buy it when you order your phone or you have to take it into the store to have it inspected before adding it.
