Siri Not Working Properly - Is it Siri or Straight Talk?

I have my iPhone 4S on ST and Siri is not working properly. When I get a text, whether it's an iMessage or regular text, she doesn't read the message. It goes like this.

Me: Read Messages.
Siri: New message from Bob. <Pause> You can reply or read again.
Me: Read again.
Siri: New message from Bob. <Pause> You can reply or read again.

This happens on both wifi and cellular, I just want to know if it's something with ST since they aren't an official carrier or "Siri is Beta" issues.

She works fine otherwise. If I ask to turn on my alarms, check the time, or play a song, she works without issue.
