I really like my new Galaxy S3, but I am going to dump it and get an Iphone 5 on Friday. I kind of feel like I am coming home again. I have had Iphones and Droids and know both systems. I picked up my wife's Iphone 4S and, although the screen is smaller than my Galaxy, it is still very good and clear. Don't get me wrong, the S3 is a very good phone. But I think the Iphone 5 will fit me better and I will be back in the Fokker Circle of Trust.( Robert DeNiro, in the Fokker movie!! )

It's the Byrnes circle of trust. Robert DeNiro's last name was Byrnes in that movie. Greg Focker was the one who had to get into the circle

Are you posting from Nebraska on your 56k dial-up modem?

  1. Reference to a joke originally from 12 years ago
  2. From a movie that not every one has seen
  3. And gets it totally wrong
  4. Including the spelling of Focker

It was still a good movie that many people saw.
You still have folks reference stuff from Goodfellas and Scarface and those are older movies.

Two things:

  1. Goodfellas and Scarface = on their own level compared to "Meet the Parents" (and most movies, mind you)
  2. He butchered everything...from title to message content

Yes, because only us hicks from Nebraska occasionally misspell a word and have seen Meet the Fockers. And does dial-up even exist anymore?

Now if you'll please excuse me, I need to go pick some corn and milk the cows.

Ignorance. Sometimes slightly amusing. Always annoying as hell.

I'm "getting" your message. But I also get that you're generalizing and stereotyping a whole lot of people you've never met, from a state I'm fairly sure you've never even been to before and know very little about (aside from the other typical stereotypes people give us). That's the part I was commenting on.
