I have dual boot Lion and ML on my macbook pro 2009 machine. After testing ML working out with hdmi cable and audio works with mirroring on TV.
I have both osx on HD, with partition 1 for ML and partition 2 on lion. Should I use application> disk utility > utilities > erase take out the partition 2 ? Any help is appreciated.

Yes. Using Disk Utility you can delete partion 2 and expand partition 1 to use all available space.
