Is it possible to play sound from both your Apple Pro Speakers and speakers connected to the headphone jack? When I plug in both the sound only comes out of the speakers connected to the headphone jack... I mean it makes sense, but I was wondering whether there was a hack or anything to be able to play out of both at the same time...

i think there's a physical switch in the headphone jack that lets the computer know it's in use; so it might be a hardware hack... otherwise i've never heard of it done...

I used to have some crappy speakers I bought, and my stereo
speakers hooked up to my computer by this thingy that plugs into
the audio port, and then branches out, making 2 new audio ports
and I plugged both of them in, and they both worked. I later
removed the smaller crap speakers, because they weren't doing
too much, and my mom needed speakers.

That's a Y-splitter you're talking about there, scem0. They're OK, but you lose volume because the same amount of output wattage is being split between the two sets of speakers you're using.
