Darn, I have an exam at 8AM. I was planning to go out and hopefully get an iPhone after my exam. In this case, I don't think I'll bother trying. Anyone on Knox? bet the lines there are crazy.

Any update from you all at Willow Bend on how big the line was when the store opened?

My infant son woke up with a fever during the night so I had to bail on the camp-out idea, but I'm wondering if there might be some leftover stock toward the end of the day...

I am about 130 or so in line. I just got my card for my phone but they are already out of 16gig AT&T white phones. There are at least another 100 people behind me. I wonder when they will get another shipment of phones.

Anyone know if any of the Dallas-area stores (Apple or otherwise) are selling standalone lightning to USB cables?

Anyone at the Frisco store? Was thinking about heading that way, but it sounds like the stores are selling out quickly. Planning to get a white 16gig phone for the wife and the online order i put in still says Oct5.

Anyone know if ATT stores have any walk-in stock available? I'd prefer to go to an Apple store but I'm pretty sure their out by now.

Frisco Update -
Just left the Frisco store. Plenty of Verizon phones but only black AT&T 16GB available.
An FYI for anyone trying to cancel an order online with Apple and buy in the store: First, my order still says 'pending' online, however it has already registered with AT&T as being upgraded. The AT&T rep in the store said I could cancel the online order with Apple, but it could take up to 2 hours to register in the various systems so I could buy the new phone in the store. Later, a manager said the wait was up to 4 hours to clear up cancellations. Also, for some reason the Apple website would not let me cancel the online order - likely because I had bought the Apple Care and it had already shown as shipped. The Apple Store manager said I could call the online number to cancel the online order (again, i might have to wait hours for it to clear up). I called the number to talk to an agent to see if I could get it done quicker and it said they were all busy and hung up on me (did not even give wait time)...odd. Anyway, decided it was not worth it, will wait two more weeks for the phone to arrive in the mail

Couldn't get out to Willow Bend until 3:30, by the time I got there I had missed the last "guaranteed phone" position in line by 3 people. Of course my wife decided to tag along, and naturally when she heard it could be until 9 PM before we got into the store (and even then weren't guaranteed to get a phone), she wanted out, so we left.

Hopefully they'll get another shipment shortly. I'd like to have a phone by the end of the weekend.

I went to Knox at 10AM and the line wasn't too bad. I was guaranteed a phone and waited about an hour. Whole process was smooth. They have a LARGE inventory.

I went to apple yesterday afternoon at Stonebriar. And they had NO lightning accessories. Said they weren't shipped any. Shame on you apple!
