Hi,

Sorry for the dodgy question. My iPhone 5 has just arrived and I need to send an official document to my phone insurance company which contains the IMEI, and I can't find one. Can anyone advise the best way to sort this out? I'm based in the UK.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply Howard. I can find what it is, but the company needs a document of it written rather than me just telling them it.

Use google search next time but ill be a chap and help you out

Settings > General > About and you IMEI number is right there almost on the bottom of the page.

Ask them if a screen shoot would work at proper documentation.

As I say, Minkx, I know how to find the IMEI. When I had a replacement phone from the Apple Store, that receipt had the IMEI on it, so I was fine to show that to my insurance company. I guess I will go with the screenshot, as I already thought that's the only thing I can do myself. If that doesn't work, I will have to try and contact Apple CS to see if they can send me something out.
