Airplay choppy since iOS6 update

I updated my iPhone 4 and got a new iPhone 5 with iOS6 and airplay barely works. It's incredibly choppy and totally unusable. I checked to make sure it wasn't my network but streaming music from iTunes using airplay on my laptop works just fine. Never had a problem until I updated.

Anyone else having this problem?

Airplay problems on iOS6

I cannot consistently play movies from my NAS anymore since updating, which is a pain. I have to use my XBOX360 instead.

My phone just seems to adjust the volume up and down then continues to play on the phone as opposed to pushing it to my apple tv.

AWAITING iOS 6.1 FROM APPLE TO HOPEFULLY SORT THIS OUT.:confused:
