Bootable USB : lion disk maker app vs disk utility

I'm looking at creating a boot USB stick, I've heard there are 2 ways of doing it, lion maker seems far easier but is it as reliable as using disk utility? First time doing this any input or advice would be great.

same end result, just pick the way that is easier for you?
