Hey! I just got the new Retina macbook (Also my first mac)

Unfortunately,A friend got to use it before me and he put some files in it. I would like to restore the whole OS just so I can go through the whole initial set up again. I tried re installing the OS but unfortunately the net speed here is slow and I cant obviously wait 9 hours.

Any way I can just restore the OS offline?

Any way I can run the initial setup again? thats all I need really.
Or can I just set it to re-install and put it on power sleep?

This friend in question was the one who bought it on my behalf so fair game :p

How's that a fair game? Because he bought it for you, doesn't mean he can just put files on it?
