Is the battery life on par with the 4 (with lte turned off?)

I dont have it in my area so I wont be using lte at all. With it turned off in the settings surely that will boost the battery life right? Im wondering if it will be on par with the iphone 4. That thing was a beast when it comes to battery life.

I was pretty dissapointed with the 4s
