Has anyone gotten their hands on one of these or are they all not available until October?

I pre-ordered 2 adapters and 2 extra cables on 9-12. I got the cables on 9-19 but when ordering the adapters it said they wouldn't be available until early October.

Yeah, thats the boat I am in as well. I really hope the adapter works with my car ipod hookup.

I went to an apple store on launch day about 4pm central time and they didnt have any. They said they would be available in October. Not sure if they had any earlier in the day.
