I bought my Unlock from Unlock Fusion last night around 9:00 ET and just recieved my email that my 4S is Unlocked! WooHoo!! Suck it AT&T!!

Have not done the restore through iTunes as I am at work and use my Mini at home for all my syncing. But went to a seperate IMEI checker and it said my phone was indeed unlocked!

This will let me use my 4S while I'm in Ireland in 2 weeks. May do my wife's 4S as well.

Can someone who got their AT&T iPhone 5 unlocked by Unlock Fusion check the IMEI at iPhoneox.com and see if it shows up as unlocked? I got the iTunes message, but mine still says unlocked. My 4S that they unlocked shows up as unlocked on iPhoneox.com.
I'm not sure if the unlock didn't work, or if the checker just isn't accurate.

Are you guys buying it through unlock fusions website? When I go there there is no option for iPhone 5 in the drop down menu. It just goes up to 4S.

I would venture to say that Apple and iTunes are the authoritative source for this and not some 3rd party website.

unlock_fusion on ebay. Cheapest iphone5 unlock is like $8.48 today

Just google Unlock Fusion and his site should be the first result but right under that should be the link for his ebay store.

For a while Apple was not allowing cash sales of iPhone to hold people to the 2/ person limit. Don't know if that's changed.

Just called up Sprint and had them unlock my 4S for free. I'm still under contract and it unlocked after I plugged it into iTunes. Just out of curiosity, do other carriers not do this for their customers?

My phone shows up as locked on those websites. Got unlocked yesterday via unlock_fusion, and iTunes gave me the "Congratulations..." message, so I'm trusting that.

On the dev.mk site I get "activation status: Yes" and then no line after that. It doesn't tell me whether my phone is locked or unlocked.
